1. “SITC, 대선 조선 피더컨 2척 발주”/“SITC books two more boxships at Dae Sun”
- 중국 컨테이너선주사 SITC는 대선조선소에 1,023teu 컨테이너 2척을 추가 발주한 것으로 확인됩니다. 해당 선주사는 지난 5월에 동 조선소에 8척 발주 이후에 옵션 선박으로 추가 발주분으로 확인되었습니다.
해당 2 선박은 앞선 신조 발주 인도 날짜 이후인 2024년 2월 그리고 4월에 인도될 예정입니다. 최근 SITC는 자사 선대를 확장하기 위하여 상기 발주 분 포함하여 총 30척의 신조선을 발주하였습니다.
베슬즈벨류에 따르면, SITC는 현재 신조 발주 분 제외 총 81척의 선대를 보유하고 있습니다.

- Chinese boxship operator SITC has placed an order at South Korean yard, Dae Sun Shipbuilding, for two additional 1,023 teu container vessels.
The two boxship newbuilds are optional vessels the SITC could take as part of the earlier signed deal for eight ships scheduled for delivery between January and December 2023.
Delivery of the two additional vessels, is expected to be between February and April 2024. SITC has been expanding its fleet lately, taking the number of ordered vessels to 30, including this latest option exercised at Dae Sun.
VesselsValue data shows SITC owns a fleet of 81 ships, excluding those currently on order.

2. “PetroChina, 후동 중화조선소에 LNG 선박 발주”/“PetroChina contracts Hudong-Zhonghua for more LNG carriers
- PetroChina International은 174,00cum LNG 선박 3척을 자국 조선소인 후동 중화와 계약을 체결하였다고 밝혔습니다.
작년 동사는 동형선 3척을 동 선주사에 발주한 바 있으며, 해당 선박은 2022년에서 2023년 안에 인도될 예정입니다.

- Shanghai-based Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding has secured a newbuilding contract from PetroChina International for three 174,000 cu m LNG carriers.
Last year, the yard and PetroChina also struck a deal for the construction of three 174,000 cu m LNG carriers. These vessels are scheduled to be delivered in 2022 and 2023.

 

3 “Evergreen, 호동중화조선소에 24,000teu 컨테이너선 2척 발주”/“Evergreen in for 24,000 teu Hudong-Zhonghua pair”
- 대만 컨테이너 선사인 Evergreen이 중국 후동 중화조선소에 24,000teu 컨테이너 선박 2척을 발주하였다고 밝혔습니다. 해당 선박은 2024년에 해당 선주사로 인도될 예정입니다.
Evergreen은 MSC다음으로 컨테이너 신조선을 많이 발주한 선주사이기도 합니다. 특히 곧 인도될 에버그린의 초대형 선박 MV. Ever Ace는 세계 기록을 갈아 치울 예정입니다.
현재 HMM의 메가막스 컨테이너선보다 28teu가 더 많은 23,992teu 선박으로 삼성 중공업에서 인도될 예정입니다.

- Taiwan’s Evergreen Marine has added to its giant orderbook. Evergreen, the world’s seventh largest carrier, has contracted Shanghai-based Hudong-Zhonghua to build a pair of 24,000 teu ships.
The vessels will deliver in 2024. Evergreen’s orderbook is the second largest among all liners, after Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC). One of the ships due to deliver very soon – the Ever Ace – will break records.
The 23,992 teu bright green ship will deliver from Samsung Heavy Industries next month, with its nominal intake ensuring it surpasses HMM’s latest series of megamaxes by just 28 teu to take the mantle of the world’s largest boxship.
